morning, F16
strangest dreams

NBCi/CNBC/MSNBC .. GE
AMC/A&E/Pax/Fox/NG .. GE
interactive weapons deployment edutainment
conglomerated patriarchal-aholic
promotional economi-comical titillatarian
war media gdp, 2003

and then... Pow!

below the needle
surging, snaking seattle
for miles, for hours
50 thousand proud

peaceful powerful
pissed off, patriotic
praying, protesting
the anti-immigrant, iraq vendetta

voices calling --
   stop killing iraqi children
   impeach bush
   people are good
   hey stupid! who's your daddy?

really! a fanciful dream

but what now?
what with the bombs?
my bombs
from my taxes

what is one
against an entire war?

but it's not my war
and it's not in my name!

i can ask a stranger about war.
child victims
generations of grieving

we can speak to those who profit from war.
corporations need you
the global weapons marketplace
is for dinner

stop business as usual the day after war starts

we don't have time to rush
